"Behind the Fireplace" is located on the ground
floor (no stairs); the entrance is directly off the salon (living
room), just behind the fireplace there (hence the name).

The view stretches about 270°, including Perugia (15 km),
the hills between us and Lago Trasimeno (about 5km), and the 12th
century Borgo Monticelli (1-1/2 km).
"Trasimeno" is on the third floor (North American -
one covered flight of stairs outdoors, one flight of stairs indoors)
with a private entrance.

The modern double bed is comfortable, and there is a
functional antique (double) Chinese bed in the living room.
The suite’s name comes from the antique Chinese furnishings
and accessories in both rooms.
There is a pellet stove for heat and effect as well as
central heating. "Shanghai" is on the second floor (North
American, up one covered flight of stairs outdoors) with a private
entrance.
The views are toward Perugia, the village of San Biagio della
Valle, and Borgo Monticelli.

Pets
Pets
are not allowed to stay in the units. Dogs
are welcome to stay in the kennel (one kennel for all visiting
dogs). You are responsible for your animal at all times, and for
"cleanup". Our Labradors "Blondie" and
"Tess" are accustomed to
well-behaved dogs and will not make problems. Our cats (3 at the
moment) are used to dogs, but generally will not bother them unless
aggressed. Use of the kennel is free of charge.
